EU Digital Identity Wallet
The European Digital Identity Wallet is a secure app on your phone. Every EU citizen will keep their verified digital identity and other credentials in it. It is introduced by the European eIDAS 2.0 regulation, and the member states must offer it to their citizens in the coming years.
What it brings to Res Mea users
- Password-free sign-in: owners and tenants sign in directly with the wallet on their phone.
- Identity verification: for example when voting per rollam, signing documents or taking over a unit. No copies of ID cards.
- Sharing only what is needed: users decide themselves which data they release (for example just their name and a confirmation that they own the unit).
- Valid across the EU: it also works for foreign owners of property in the Czech Republic.
Res Mea already supports sign-in with Bank iD. Sign-in and verification with the EU wallet is in preparation and will launch as soon as the wallet is available in the Czech Republic.
